Well educated, with a degree from the University of Reading, and an MSC from the University of Kent at Canterbury. This candidate has worked for a leading UK integrated agency as a Project Director since 2022, working with a range of high profile and corporate clients, with her main client being a technology organisation. Her role sees her leading a team of 5 direct reports, alongside regularly leading across large and complex projects, teams of up to 10 people. Managing a wide range of projects from exhibitions and conferences, through to C Suite meetings, marketing events, content launches, dinners etc with budgets circa £1.5 million internationally.  A key part of her role is stakeholder management, which has seen her managing multiple client relationships and holding accountability for the success of these high-stake projects and ensuring that they are commercially focussed and of a consistently high quality.

Prior to this, she undertook a senior contracting role as the Head of Events for a Not-for-Profit organisation, on a fixed term contract, which amongst other things saw her lead the prestigious events which alone has 4000 attendees. Most recently he has worked for a leading event agency, as a Senior Producer, where he worked across large live customer attraction events internationally. His role saw him producing digital content, budgeting, alongside scripting and producing. In addition, he had responsibility for a range of stakeholder management. Prior to this, he was Senior Producer for another well-regarded event and exhibition agency which included large exhibitions and brand activations. His role involved him working closely with senior stakeholders and holding relationships with third party suppliers and a team of contractors. He particularly enjoyed working with junior members of the team and mentoring them as part of his role. Budget wise, he is used to managing projects in excess of £2 million, with multifaceted demands, something he thrives on.

She has particularly impressive knowledge and experience of the sector, having worked within an events environment for in excess of 9 years and currently reports into the Head of Department and the Creative Director. Her role sees her working across a range of digital projects, particularly on the immersive side.  Expert at managing client briefs and the scoping of projects, and as the projects develop, managing budgets of up to £1 million.  Responsibilities include managing the in-house creative team and also owning supplier relationships and working with freelancers. This candidate regularly plans story boards, and oversees shoots, in addition to producing content for live and broadcast work. She has regular client contact, hosts meetings and implements new technology. The practical element of her role involves organising locations, procuring props, sourcing and working closely with artists, and she is proficient across technology and platforms, which includes Workflow, Adobe suite, 3DS Max, and Cinema 4D, in addition to managing postproduction video and animation, using Premiere and After Effects.

An experienced agency Production Manager who has had strong visibility within the agency sector, working for well-regarded agencies. A graduate with a strong technical base, which incorporates AV, lighting, scenic installations, he has worked across a range of sectors and projects, from large scale conferences and exhibitions, through to experiential fit outs , all within his range. Most recently, he has worked for the well-regarded creative agency, where he worked as part of a small team on diverse projects such as sporting events, touring exhibitions, conferences and these roles were all very client focused. The budgets ranged from typical projects with values from several hundred thousand pounds up to £1.5 million, and the events were international. Regularly working onsite on AV management and working with colleagues to arrange logistics, he was a key member of the team, and he enjoyed working closely with the creative and project teams.

Prior to this, he worked at an exhibition builder and was managing installations, working closely with in-house workshop team, and onsite crew, and he was regularly required to adhere to health and safety standards in his role. Salary Expectations: £50,000
A strong agency and client-side Event Manager, currently in a contract for a media company where she is managing the delivery of a range of both small and larger scale events. These range from exhibitions and conferences as well as gala dinners. Her role sees her managing budgets of over £500k and she is regularly sourcing and managing suppliers as well as working directly with venues and contractors. The role has production elements, and it was typical of her to manage the tender process in addition to elements such as designing and managing floorplans, and health and safety issues, etc. This position is a maternity cover role and has given her good exposure to the agency projects within the scope of her role.  Prior to this, she worked at an event agency as a Project Manager, managing a team of 5. This fast-paced multi-faceted role, saw her work with largely technology brands and she was regularly working on projects with budgets more than £1million.  Her role had a strong hands-on focus, delivering a range of events such as large conferences and exhibitions, managing the needs of clients and liaising with a range of client and internal stakeholders.

Salary Expectations: £40,000
A highly impressive Event Manager, a graduate with first class honours degree, and who has worked within the events sector since leaving university.  Her career began at a well-known event agency, where she joined as an Events Co Ordinator, in 2021 and was quickly promoted into an Event Manager role, where she managed complex global events. Many of her events were for the agency’s key client, a large technology client, project managing conferences, meetings, launches and a range of internal meetings. Predominately b2b live events, with some virtual events in the mix. This role saw her as the key point of contact for clients and suppliers, actively involved in the client briefings, through to executing the events, managing budgets, and regularly hosting client meetings. This fast moving and demanding role, saw her hone her natural skills for being an effective organiser, and someone who is an out and out team player, and always ready to step up to the mark and resolve any situations.

More recently, she joined a healthcare business as an Experiential and Events Manager, where she has responsibility for managing a large number of larger events, across Europe, with end-to-end event management, from client brief, delivery through to reconciliation. Budgets across the projects vary, but typically are around the £400k mark, and delegate numbers can be small for meetings, through to circa 1.200 for larger events. The pharmaceutical events vary, from congresses and symposiums, through to investigator meetings and large-scale conferences, and advisory boards.  Part of her role is to oversee and manage the logistics within the events, as well as acting as a mentor within her role to junior staff and continuing her extensive involvement with her clients.  On a personal level, this candidate is undoubtedly impressive. Smart, articulate, highly personable, she demonstrates her commitment and desire for quality and the best outcome for all involved. A naturally creative person, who enjoys a challenge, she has a great deal of experience and knowledge to offer, and she is looking for the next step in her career.

Project Manager – Immediately Available – London based and open to hybrid or office-based opportunities.
Salary Expectations: £30,000 - £35,000
An impressive candidate who comes across as confident and assured. She has recently completed a short-term contract at a University as a Fundraising Coordinator where she has been responsible for managing inboxes, data entry, diary management which has honed her organisation skills. Prior to this, she was an Event Coordinator at a University, within a four-person student engagement team. She played a key role in delivering a wide range of events designed to enhance the student experience. The team delivered at least one event per week, and up to 15 events at peak times, ranging from awards dinners and BBQs to drinks receptions, music concerts, and diversity and inclusion events like Pride. She also introduced new event concepts, including a large-scale orientation event that featured multiple music stages, one of which she transformed into a high-production lounge area with a dungeon theme, which she project managed from start to finish.
This candidates’ technical skills include extensive experience with delegate registration platforms like Eventsforce and Eventbrite, where she built platforms, sent invites, managed responses, and oversaw the registration for 178 campus clubs. Prior to her role at the university, she worked as Events Manager at a catering agency where she managed both catering and venue logistics for corporate clients. Her favourite part of the role was building strong client relationships, which she excelled at, alongside managing event budgets up to $15K. Now looking for a new opportunity within the events industry, whether in account management or event delivery, with a particular interest in agency roles. Delegate Manager/ Coordinator – Immediately Available! Surrey based and open to office or hybrid working roles.
Salary Expectations: £27,000 - £30,000
A naturally strong communicator, and she has experience of working within the agency events sector over 2 years. Employed by an events and media agency where she was involved in managing key large events each year, which included large B to B conferences and exhibitions in Europe, where she was involved in the logistics, venue sourcing and delegate management aspects of her role, closely working with both sponsors and speakers. Responsible for arranging accommodation for delegates, and hosting in some cases over 750 delegates at each event, whilst leading a team on site.
This candidate was successful at increasing the levels of registrations through marketing campaigns, and this led to her taking responsibility for some social media and marketing elements within her role, to promote brand growth including launching a Linked In showcase page for new events.
Clients were typically with the aviation sector, and were conferences in Europe, with circa 500 – 800 delegates, managing registration responsibilities, requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Adept at negotiating with suppliers and working within client budgets and regularly using Cvent, Canva and Adobe suite.
