Event Logistics Manager

3 days in the office, Middlesex – Flex/Hybrid.

Our client is a very well established and regarded independent communications and event agency that provides exhibitions, live events, branded experiences, and environments, launches, sponsorship and world expos across the globe.


Purpose - Logistics Manager – Events


Are you a dynamic, talented top-notch Events Manager or Logistics Manager Events, who can support a fast-paced, extremely high profile, global government account.


The nature of the account means that your ability to respond to short notice briefs to the highest of standards is essential.


We require a solid event delivery background, ideally gained from working within an event agency environment and you will need to be open to both UK and international travel as well as onsite event delivery.


The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience in an equivalent Live Events role within a similar sized and quality organisation. The candidate must be experienced with managing all elements of an event from initial proposal creation through to financial reconciliation, including managing all logistics.


Qualifications / Skills

✅Must be a superb communicator, both written and oral

✅Must possess excellent organisational and live events planning skills

✅Strong project management and time management skills

✅Sufficient knowledge and understanding of current trends in the live events space

✅Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management

✅The ability to work on and manage multiple projects concurrently

✅Team player, must be flexible, inclusive, positive, and helpful

✅Excellent attention to detail

✅Comfortable with some travel for project delivery.

Client / Account Handling

✅Implementation and management of all aspects of allocated live projects (pre-, during and post activity)

✅Provide highly responsive client service ensuring very high levels of client satisfaction

✅Manages reverse brief process with clients for allocated events program

✅Effectively manages client communication, status updates and briefings to ensure the client is aware of delivery schedule

✅Build relationships with your clients key stakeholders

✅Manages client project debrief process

✅Will support a varied client base

Creative / Project:

✅Plays internal client at times and is across; messaging and brand across project timeline

✅Work closely with creative teams, production team and third-party suppliers in developing briefs and timelines

✅Ensures quality client briefs (reverse brief process) and process adherence at all times

✅Work with Resource Management to manage client workload (current and forecasted)

✅Works closely with the specialised Production Leads in the delivery of projects

✅Manages internal project debriefs with Account Director

✅Working closely with Project Managers

✅Managing logistics for live events and exhibitions

Financial / Commercial:

✅Oversees the project budget creation process and schedules

✅Accountable for project revenue (meet/exceed revenue targets)

✅Works closely with the Account Director in the growth and development of their client

✅Compliant across creative, financial & system processes

✅Accountable for timely reconciliation and client communication


✅Solid knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

✅Be willing to work outside of office hours if necessary

✅Be proactive, offer ideas, get involved with all aspects of the account

✅A people person, agile and responsive to client needs and with strong networking and presentation skills.
