Senior Digital Project Manager

A multi-faceted events and communications agency, founded 10 years ago, and now serving a number of clients globally in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, with 50 talent events and marketing professionals. The business provides a full range of communications solutions from creative assets and branded programs to exhibitions, leadership meetings and both analog and digital communication platforms. Last year over 1,000 people worked on projects with us, covering strategy, creative concept writing, campaign development and execution in print, web, video, art and graphics.

The company is going through a significant expansion phase with a corporate rebrand and several new team members joining in the coming months. The company is privately owned by the founder who is the full time agency head. We have a young, energetic team based around the world. The company provides an annual bonus, pension and 31 days holiday including public holidays. Travel to clients and to events will be expected and is rewarded with time in lieu where appropriate. Laptop and phone provided. You will have managing digital projects at an agency for 5+ years and be able to walk through practical experience and project examples demonstrating your skill sets. You will have demonstrated project management techniques and tools. You will have worked in extended teams with full time and freelance/part-time members, as well as working with third party agencies. Enthusiasm, energy and people skills are essential in this role as they sit in the middle of all the digital activity. As a Sr. Digital Project Manager, you will be supporting the Digital team as well as Producers on the coordination of specific projects and communications programs requiring Digital content. You will have good liaison skills that can be used when needing to push back on deadlines, timelines and prioritization.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Understand client objectives and develop project plans that deliver on those

  •  Effectively manage day-to-day project activities, including but not limited to

  •  Proactively identify risks and issues associated with assigned projects and

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital best practices and emerging

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of all

  •  Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and insights into

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Airtable, Jira, Trello,

  • Experience managing website development projects

  • Partnering with colleagues and clients to gather and structure requirements

  • Problem-solving and managing issues to resolution stage, accurately

  • Partnering with team members to support content development, editing,

  • Showing you can put agile and waterfall plans in place that will benefit the

  • Institute digital PM best practices across the digital team – implementing

Skills and Experience

  • Have experience using Jira and Airtable (or similar systems) in a project

  • Have a working understanding of digital skills and coding such as HTML, CMS,c

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a

  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels including senior staff.

  • Producing appropriate documentation in support of digital projects including

  • Be confident working alongside the technical team to specify and document

  • Have an excellent understanding of web projects and implementation

  • Have a very good understanding and knowledge of web standards; Usability,

  • Be familiar with multiple technology platforms, i.e. mobile apps, web, email

  • Be able to demonstrate an informed opinion about the digital marketplace.

  • Inputting to and organising testing to guarantee quality of delivery to client.
