What’s the role?


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious Junior Graphic Designer to join our fabulous agency producing world class events from the beginning to the very end.


As part of the Creative Design team, you will be supporting across all disciplines including taking designs from their conception through to perfecting them before final sign-off.


This will be an opportunity to apply and enhance your skills; you will have excellent attention to detail and take pride in owning your work. As a vital contributor to our fast-paced agency you will demonstrate a can-do attitude, be willing to learn and truly enjoy being a member of our multi-talented team.



Responsibilities


Producing print-ready artworks, templates to size/scale and digital assets that are up to specification and of the highest standards

  • Adapting existing artworks to alternative layouts and/or formats

  • For larger projects, you will work with your manager to work through the process of collecting information, materials and timelines to reviewing and approving final proofs from printers.

  • Working to deadlines is fundamental to the success of all projects.

  • You will be expected to follow internal critical paths, client and supplier deadlines Owning your work and ensuring it is cross checked and ready for print/submission before being shared with colleagues and clients

  • Communicating with various stakeholders with confidence to translate specifications into production artwork

  • Demonstrating knowledge of competitors and current trends to ensure creative work has a point of difference



Required Experience & Skills


  • 2-3 years' Graphic Design experience

  • Confidence in every aspect of the design process; from concept creation to execution

  • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Vectorworks, Autocad

  • Excellent layout and typography skills

  • Competency in creating both 2D and 3D visuals

  • Highly skilled in both graphics and artworking as day-to-day work requires this in equal measure

  • Exemplary attention to detail with a fastidious approach to ensuring work is cross checked prior to sharing

  • Project management and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in multi-functional/cross disciplined teams

  • Impeccable organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively

  • Event experience is desirable although not essential

  • The ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the events industry and client’s industries

  • IT literate (MS Office), Google docs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The right to work in the UK
