Client

A multi-faceted events and communications agency, founded 10 years ago, and now serving a number of clients globally in healthcare, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods, with 50 talent events and marketing professionals. The business provides a full range of communications solutions from creative assets and branded programs to exhibitions, leadership meetings and both analog and digital communication platforms.

Last year over 1,000 people worked on projects with us, covering strategy, creative concept writing, campaign development and execution in print, web, video, art and graphics. The company is going through a significant expansion phase with a corporate rebrand and several new team members joining in the coming months.

The company is privately owned by the founder who is the full time agency head. We have a young, energetic team based around the world.

Projects vary and include product launches, leadership summits, award ceremonies, and internal comms events. Our successful Senior Event Producer, or Executive Producer will need to have around 10 years’ experience in producing events.

Role

Our point of difference is big agency ideas with small agency speed and service. For the majority of our clients we are heavily involved in content development, distillation and visualization. The roles are therefore hands-on with the need for deep engagement in the story our client wants to tell and then attention to detail in executing across multiple touchpoints, often both analog and digital. We regularly support over 40 separate brand teams and so relationship development and management is critical to success. Roles will regularly interact with senior leadership of blue chip companies. As a global agency we work with clients across multiple time zones and need to manage the complexities of multinational initiatives with appropriate local adaptation.

As an Event Producer you will be creating events for various clients to develop and deliver a number of projects and events through the course of the year.

The role is responsible for various aspects of client engagement, developing deliverables across all skill sets within events management and content creation in timely delivery to the client. You will be responsible, with guidance and senior leadership support, for setting and tracking the budget and managing changes with the client.

We would ideally like someone with experience in delivering events from end to end, including exposure to developing client content. Utioising creativity to bring imaginative and inspiring ideas to the process of events execution.

Our clients value the quality of ideas, the confidence in our execution and the flexibility of our speed and responsiveness which all combine to deliver a complete solution for the client in a very time efficient way for them. As a consequence we value leaders who can retain clarity on the big picture communications objectives and react quickly and calmly to the execution challenges that arise in compressed timeframes.

They are committed to develop from within. You will be expected to manage and develop members of your team, stay connected externally to trends and new ideas in the industry and to motivate and manage extended team members and freelancers.

Desired Experience

As an Events Producer or Event Producer, you will have at least 3-5 years experience working within an agency environment within events and communications . Demonstrating an ability to create and deliver event programs and events for clients. You will be imaginative in creating new ideas and solutions and bringing fresh perspective to a client team. At the same time you will be disciplined and detailed in how you coordinate project delivery on time, in full and to budget.

Critical skills include:

  • Budget management

  • Client management
