Staffing Manager





Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Staffing Account Manager to work within a multimillion-pound budget telecoms client, managing the brand ambassador / field team resourcing needs. 

Our client is part of a larger umbrella group, so there is the perfect mix of opportunity but also working for a boutique live events & experiential agency, with creativity that connects and cuts through the noise.

On this account, they straddle the world of experiential and field marketing, what sets this special client apart is that they focus on connections with consumers rather than transactions. Focusing on creating valuable engagements from the outset, this sets their clients up for a stronger chance of a sale further down the chain. We are looking for someone to bring some field marketing expertise to this client but also someone comfortable breaking from traditional approaches.

They run a large team of Brand Ambassadors who work across events, high streets or on specific postcodes, speaking to consumers about products and encouraging them to register their interest. We use all sorts of creative tactics to get them to talk to us and constantly think differently about how to find the most effective ways to engage, pivoting and adapting to drive success.


  • Take ownership of the schedule of activity and resource accordingly based on knowledge of the team and client

  • Liaise with all Brand Ambassadors on availability, confirm schedules, manage any cancellations and be solution focused

  • Identify resource gaps and work with the internal Recruitment team to bring new talent to the team & screen potential candidates for enrolment into the programme.

  • Provide weekly updates on the status of the resource plan

  • Manage & process client feedback post activity

  • Assist the Account Director in building proposals around our staffing team to cross sell within the client business.

  • Create budget estimates for all new proposed staffing activations or new business opportunities

  • Sign off all payroll and expenses for team on a weekly basis & reconcile all staffing costs

  • Deliver basic training to new recruits and carry out field visits to ensure team are clear on objectives and outputs of the activity.


  • At least 2 years client management experience across B2C staffing or recruitment campaigns.
    Experience of harnessing virtual teams and leading staffing projects

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present and build relationships at all levels.

  • Previous experience of people management, motivating teams and a structured approach to performance management.

  • Numerate / able to manage budgets and identify key opportunities and efficiencies in order to drive greater profitability.

  • Can-do attitude and oodles of passion for live events and staffing them

  • Passion for live events and the industry, keen to network and build key supplier/peer relationships.

    The role requires activity outside of normal working hours. This may include travelling across the UK and staying away from home as well as working unsociable hours including weekends.
    The role would be able to work from home a day or two per week and choose working hours ensuring key hours are covered i.e. 10-4. The office will be based in Oxfordshire.
