Role Description

Are you an experienced New Business Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager with the events industry looking to take on a new challenge? If so, we are recruiting and are looking for individuals just like you!


Our client partner is a creative agency which are focused on delivery engaging exhibitions solutions for the UK’s leading and fastest growing brands. They are one of the largest exhibition stand contractors in the UK. Working directly with marketing professionals to fully understand their exhibiting objectives, allowing the ability to offer much more than just an architectural solution. 

At the heart of every bespoke exhibition stand design and build project they undertake they consider brand reflection, ergonomics, visitor flow, sales interaction and commercial viability, and most importantly a measurable result for our customers. Their award-winning teams are qualified, experienced and passionate about what they do, from the outset thinking outside the box.

Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a New Business Manager to join the team in the South East / London Region.


New Business Manager responsibilities:


  • Field based and responsible for the ongoing growth of the company

  • Acquiring new clients and then transferring them to the care of the Account Management Team

  • Prospecting and driving new business forward.

  • You will be supplied with a healthy flow of leads via the website, email and exhibition campaigns, and with a high degree of self-starting behaviour and confidence, you will be required to generate new business opportunities.

  • Unrivalled industry intelligence is supplied in order to support you in these efforts, along with a CRM system focussed to aiding the new business function

  • With a strong ability to establish fit and identify specific events and prospects that will benefit most from our proposition will deliver excellent rewards for you.

  • Once through the door your qualifying, negotiating and closing techniques need to be every bit as sharp as your appointment setting credentials, ensuring our client’s key differentiators (bespoke hire and engagement tools) are brought to the fore to ensure the best possible results for clients on the show floor.



The Ideal New Business Manager:

  • Previous experience in the exhibitions or events industry is appealing but by not exclusive.

  • If you have natural flare and sales performance history, who is looking to move into a highly exciting, creative and rewarding industry.


A competitive basic salary depending upon experience with the potential to double salary with an excellent sales bonus scheme and benefits including: Pension with employer contribution, Health Care scheme and Death in Service.
