Role Description

Our client is an exceptional events agency based in Central London who produce outstanding, eye catching events and impart their unrivalled knowledge to the event experience.  We are recruiting, on their behalf, for an ambitious Sales Executives to join their team. This role would suit a well-educated, articulate person who is confident on the telephone. The role includes selling space for an exhibition that has a 3-year track record with proven results enjoying year on year growth. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is happy to proactively hunt leads and convert them into sales.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Cold calling PR & Marketing teams in London & New York to sell exhibition space from

your own database of contacts (provided) with further access to a retail PR directory with names, job titles and phone numbers for ease of contact

  • Pitching for event sponsorship and paid partners

  • Spearheading the growth of the business by hunting down prospects, generating leads and closing sales

  • Following up warm leads generated by marketing campaigns

  • Following phone scripts, managing sales objections and negotiating

  • Sending well-crafted follow up emails

  • Learning & continual improvement of sales skills, bringing new ideas into the organisation

  • Attending other retail industry exhibitions to meet and find new relevant clients

 

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Degree level education

  • Fluent English

  • Self-motivated to pick up the phones to prospective clients

  • Confident talking to and in front of others

  • Sales experience a bonus

  • Strong time management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and grammatical skills

  • Competitive & fast learner
