Our client is a leading Events Agency with offices in London and Manchester who create and deliver unforgettable experiences. They work with some of the world’s best known brands, bringing to life their messages through events and conferences in the UK and around the globe. Their logistics team are looking for an experienced Logistics Project Manager.  You will be responsible for overseeing multiple logistics operations at any one time, whist maintaining excellent service. For this exciting role the ideal person will have Significant experience leading and managing events, from proposal stage to completion. This role can be carried out in either the London or Manchester office.

The Role of Logistics Project Manager

As part of the Logistics team you will work on a  large pharmaceutical account with exposure to other clients covering a variety of sectors, with significant experience leading event management, from proposal stage through to completion. This role, which includes national and international travel on a regular basis, requires you to have previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will oversee multiple operations at one time, face numerous deadlines, and orchestrate the activities of several different groups of people in support and delivery of excellent client service. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be commercially focused and possess an ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Lead and manage the event logistics from venue search, pre-work, on-site to post event reconciliation, including managing the suppliers (hotel, DMC, external venue, travel agency) and the relevant HCP reporting

  • Oversee and monitor the delegate management process and willingness to take on the delegate management role for smaller meetings

  • Actively build and sustain positive client relationships, providing continuous support, whilst helping facilitate the first class delivery of work by the team

  • Ability to juggle several projects at any one time and work to tight deadlines

  • Accurate preparation and management of detailed budgets, including profit margins

  • Leading and managing project teams of various sizes and a mix of internal and freelance support

  • Perform and prepare recommendations for complex venue searches.

  • Negotiate and build relationships with external venues and suppliers in order to achieve the required objectives for all events

  • Handling client relationships, managing and setting client expectations

Who you will be!

You will have significant experience leading and managing events, from proposal stage to completion

  • Well versed in regulations of the pharmaceutical sector

  • Experience of preparing detailed budgets and management

  • Detailed timeline management

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship skills

  • Excellent pitch and presentation skills

  • Commercially focused

  • Calm under pressure

  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated, proactive and excellent attention to detail

  • Registration systems experience (Certain preferred)

  • The flexibility to travel overseas and work from other agency locations in the UK
