Role Description

Our client is an award-winning event services, exhibition stand design and build organisation based in London. Their services offer design, project management production and installation and has a reputation for outstanding services.


They are now looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects.  This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Account Manager who will assist throughout the project lifecycle offering guidance in design, production and relationships critical to the business.


The ideal person will have experience of Project Managing Exhibitions, or retail space. You will also need to have some design background, ideally CAD drawing and Rendering so experience working in Project Management from a Production perspective is preferable.

Aims and Responsibilities of the Project Manager

Projects –

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.

  • Consult and update the Operations team regarding the status of all projects.

  • Estimate the resources required and assess the need for assistance from the Project Team, third party consultants and contractors to achieve project goals.

  • Schedule project timelines using appropriate tools.

  • Develop project plans, including design, technical plans and associated communication documents.

  • Review all project costing’s, prior to submitting proposal to client, in-conjunction with the Senior Project Managers and make revisions, where necessary.

  • Draft and submit proposals to client, in-conjunction with the Account Manager.

  • Review and address all health and safety requirements.

  • Monitor and report to relevant parties on the progress of the project.

  • Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans; update costings and proposal, if necessary.

  • Communicate and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle, inconjunction with the Account Manager.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

  • Conduct quality control checks, in-conjunction with the Warehouse Co-Ordinator and Lead Fitter, on all jobs leaving/entering the warehouse and on site.

  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project

  • Lead, coach and motivate team members, stand fitters, third party contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct a post project review and provide recommendations that identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
