Role Description

Our client is an incredible Events & Communications Agency who create outstanding live brand and live events experiences. Their work includes experiential marketing campaigns, product launches, conferences, incentive programmes, exhibitions, VIP experiences, store launches, hospitality programmes, digital campaigns, brand films, internal communications programmes and much more!

They are actively recruiting within their event production team. If you are an experience Producer or Senior Producer with extensive experience of managing large scale events and conferences, we would love to hear from you. This role will work in collaboration with the wider business on global events and working on productions for world-class blue-chip clients.

Working closely with a talented team, you will be responsible for creative and operational event production to include content.

Purpose – Account Director Live Events

Accountable for managing client relationships, expectations, and business development. Provide leadership and support to the team and work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless, high-quality service and exceptional client experience whilst ensuring accounts are profitable and identifying future business opportunities.


  • Accountable for maintaining and developing client accounts and identifying new business opportunities. Proactively seek new clients through existing networks, following up on leads, marketing initiatives and positively building on reputation and brand as appropriate

  • Build and own strong relationships with clients to understand their short and longer term needs and provide advice and guidance on events; proactively resolve any issues or complaints and develop high levels of trust and commitment

  • Own and ensure proposals for events are commercially viable by working closely with colleagues to develop timely and accurate budgets

  • Own and proactively manage event budgets identifying issues and addressing these early with colleagues or clients, as appropriate, with the aim of delivering outstanding value for money for the client

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and secure resource requirements for events and support them in delivering a seamless, high-quality service and an exceptional client experience

  • Act as the “clients” representative at events, proactively own and problem solve issue and liaise with colleagues and suppliers to resolve any concerns

  • Seek to continuously improve the client relationship through analysis of client feedback pre and post event and together with an understanding of future client needs, identify an improvement plan to add value

  • Lead and manage the team providing day to day guidance and support as required, sharing knowledge and experience to develop their skills and role model the Nteractive values at all times. Empower staff, coach, and mentor them as appropriate.

  • Ability to work on and stay on top of multiple concurrent projects through use of planning tools and processes

  • Highly organised with good attention to detail

  • Ability to work at pace and under pressure


  • Significant experience of working at Senior Account Manager level in a similar size event agency

  • Proven project management skills at a senior level, running multiple projects to deadlines and budget

  • Excellent customer service skills and client focus

  • Strong diplomacy and negotiating skills

  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience of contract management

  • Proven Excel skills at advanced level and sound ICT skills in general.

Other Requirements

  • Quiet home environment from which to work on up to two days per week (although the successful candidate may be required to be office based on more than three days during busy periods, to aid team collaboration or meet client needs)

  • Minimum of 10MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet our homeworking business requirements

  • Liking for and ability to undertake international travel thorough the calendar.
